Refrigerated Containers
Refrigerated containers can be used to store products in a controlled temperature environment. They are useful for things like catering supplies, beer and wine, frozen products and freight, cargo, flowers, medical supplies, produce on site, and chilled cargo.
Tropical Containers can supply ten, twenty or forty foot refrigerated containers.
Should you require a specific temperature control cycle, customised product storage or handling, or customised access, we can custom design the unit to meet your needs.
Typical features of a refrigerated container include:
- Stainless steel interior
- T-shaped aerated flooring suitable for forklift load/unload
- Temperature range from –25 degrees celcius to +25 degrees celcius
- Internally operated emergency stop control or alarm
- Air-strip curtain
- Voltage 3 phase 415 v
- Automatic defrost
- Digital diagnostic controller on more current models
- 5 HP compressor
- Self draining airflow floors
When positioning your unit you will need to ensure adequate airflow to machinery and be more than one metre from any walls.
